My name is Megan Dennis. I began my career in accounting, where I spent several years managing books for small business owners. Today, I live in Chatham, Illinois, with my husband Justin Dennis and our two children, Abigail age 7 and Madilynn age 6. They keep us busy with sports, outdoor adventures, pool days, sand volleyball and cherished family time. I was born and raised in Fredericktown, Missouri—a small town of about 4,000 people—before relocating to Illinois in 2014. Though my roots are in a tight-knit rural community, my journey has led me to new opportunities and experiences in central Illinois. My husband owns a lawn care company, Abi-Mae Lawn Care and Landscaping Services Inc and I continue to put my accounting background to good use by handling the books for his business. Supporting our family’s entrepreneurial efforts while balancing the joy and energy of raising young kids keeps life full— and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
