For over 30 years, Jay Cole has dived deep into the area where his clients’ lives meet their finances, serving as their confidant throughout life’s many changes. Jay finds great joy in building close relationships with his clients and carving out distinct, dynamic solutions for their unique circumstances.
With extensive experience in the industry, Jay brings an astute perspective to the table. Jay utilizes a hands-on approach by regularly checking in with clients and reviewing their accounts and plans to keep them on track towards their goals.
Jay previously served as past board member and president of both The Ball-Chatham Education Foundation and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Illinois Capital Region. Jay also enjoys working around his garden, coaching competitive fast pitch softball and taking long drives in his father’s 1973 Caprice Classic Convertible.
Jay and his wife, Mary currently reside in Southport, North Carolina. They make frequent trips to Springfield but are enjoying the warmer climate and range of activities that Southport has to offer.
Jay and Mary have a blended family. Jay has 2 daughters, Mariah, married to Aaron with granddaughters Emery (EmJ) & Harvey, and daughter Peyton, all of whom reside in North Carolina. Mary has two sons. Steven and his wife Abbey with grandchildren Charlotte (Lottie) and Louis, who live in Springfield. Jeff and his wife Jessie with grandchild Josephine (Joey), who resides in Denver, Colorado. Not to be forgotten, Jay and Mary have two dogs, Addie and Tillie.
Jay and Mary are current members of the New Generations Church.
